A collision led to 2kC Poznań getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Stanislaw Kisielka hit a great ball. Andries De Putter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute Andries De Putter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Rutkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veijo Väätäinen kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes, AFC United's Jordi Scherz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tadeusz Rutkowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFC United reached it. The audience was convinced that Andries De Putter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeusz Rutkowski was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Tadeusz Rutkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andries De Putter in the 18th minute of play. 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andries De Putter in the 19th minute of play. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Andries De Putter sped through 2kC Poznań's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeusz Rutkowski. Tadeusz Rutkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andries De Putter in the 28th minute of play. Janusz Pusiak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lei Bin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Andries De Putter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Rutkowski having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Andries De Putter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, AFC United's Andries De Putter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadeusz Rutkowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Andries De Putter notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski. Tadeusz Rutkowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andries De Putter took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeusz Rutkowski. Tadeusz Rutkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Andries De Putter sped through 2kC Poznań's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeusz Rutkowski. After the first half AFC United were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Edgar Turak was slow to take the kick. During this time 2kC Poznań's players had a chance to rest. Stanislaw Kisielka was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 61 played minutes 2kC Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Turak. AFC United's Lei Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Lepper in the 66th minute of play. AFC United's Bilintx Trilla was substituted for Rodrigo Cugat. 2kC Poznań made a substitution. Ulryk Merski replaced Janusz Pusiak. After 78 minutes 2kC Poznań's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jordi Scherz who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Dudu Ferraz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peru Diaz got free with Tadeusz Rutkowski in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute AFC United were awarded a corner. Jordi Scherz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jordi Scherz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski did a great save. Lei Bin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Merski in the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 2kC Poznań's Zbigniew Zaworski got a free kick in the 94th minute. Dudu Ferraz scored 0-8 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeusz Rutkowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The AFC United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
