In the 12th minute, Godfried Teunens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Salomone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejo Otsando in the 14th minute. When Godfried Teunens came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the La Bichineta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfried Teunens couldn't finish the play. Godfried Teunens scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yunus Civan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dorival de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfried Teunens took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yunus Civan. Yunus Civan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Yunus Civan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival de Azevedo in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trabzonspor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Poncio Justo was slow to take the kick. During this time La Bichineta's players had a chance to rest. The corner led La Bichineta's Poncio Justo to fire away a dangerous shot which Yunus Civan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Humberto Salomone was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Alejo Otsando capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alejo Otsando really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. When Alejo Otsando came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Trabzonspor fans jumped to their feet. In the 88th minute, Dariusz Motyl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
