An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbert Kotmánik in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luc Van Hinnendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Kontšek in the 4th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Stinking Dogs's Zhou Yuan Feng got control of the ball when Carl Van Kamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zhou Yuan Feng made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Carl Van Kamp sent off a good shot on target. Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Kotmánik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luc Van Hinnendael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Kontšek in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Kontšek in the 20th minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, FC Stinking Dogs's Daniel Kontšek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luc Van Hinnendael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, FC Stinking Dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Shen Sang Hao came free, but Zhou Yuan Feng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Bruges booed when FC Stinking Dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Kontšek didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shen Sang Hao in the 30th minute of play forced FC Stinking Dogs's goalkeeper Zhou Yuan Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Alvaro Pesce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luc Van Hinnendael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes FC Bruges got a freekick which was hit by Carl Van Kamp. 43 minutes into the game, Shen Sang Hao lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Zhou Yuan Feng. In the 47th match minute, FC Bruges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Urtzi to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Kontšek made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Róbert Kotmánik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Stinking Dogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Róbert Kotmánik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 52 played minutes FC Stinking Dogs got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Brændgaard. In the 55th minute of the match FC Bruges got a corner. FC Stinking Dogs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Philip Verhasselt ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 56 minutes, Shen Shi Mo made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Stinking Dogs's Zhou Yuan Feng tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Stinking Dogs's goalkeeper Zhou Yuan Feng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luc Van Hinnendael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Róbert Kotmánik in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute, Róbert Kotmánik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Stinking Dogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shen Sang Hao in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zhou Yuan Feng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 80 minutes, Shen Sang Hao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bruges's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shen Sang Hao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC Stinking Dogs getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Gunnar Brændgaard hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Shen Sang Hao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zhou Yuan Feng was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Luc Van Hinnendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Pesce in the 87th minute of the match. Zhou Yuan Feng came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bruges's Ken Brogren. But to his dismay, Ken Brogren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2.
