Christijan Schreuder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Marek Percha made a huge save. 17 minutes into the match, Odważni's goalkeeper Marek Percha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Japke de Boer. In the 21st minute Japke de Boer suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Azubeli during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Verwachting's Ruud Geels was substituted for Japke de Boer. In the 23rd minute, Armando Azubeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Verwachting got a corner. Odważni's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Harm de Freitas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Odważni's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Twan Hesseling scored to the left of an out of position Marek Percha, making the score, 1-0. When Christijan Schreuder came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Verwachting fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christijan Schreuder couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruud Geels got free with Marek Percha in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herbert Hilhorst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Atıf Nezir in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes Verwachting's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cezary Knopek who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Odważni's Cezary Knopek to fire away a dangerous shot which Herbert Hilhorst despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Verwachting getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Vincent Koekkoek hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Ali Atıf Nezir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Hilhorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Odważni's Marek Percha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud Geels in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Christijan Schreuder made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Atıf Nezir. Verwachting's Christijan Schreuder got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christijan Schreuder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Marek Percha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Christijan Schreuder notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Odważni's Marek Percha. Marek Percha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the match, Odważni's goal looked a bit too open when Ruud Geels came free, but Marek Percha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Verwachting from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Ruud Geels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zula Kasprzak hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Harm de Freitas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marek Percha. Odważni's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Christijan Schreuder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Marek Percha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruud Geels struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Marek Percha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verwachting. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Verwachting fans cheered their team off the field, for while Odważni had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
