When Victorino Marko came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Kings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Marko couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Kings's zone, Jakab Boross stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haşim Batüralp came out of the goal and Jakab Boross tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Attila Mesterházy was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Raido Pulver capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raido Pulver really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind RedBull Diósgyőr FC's goalkeeper Attila Mesterházy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner went over the outstretched arms of RedBull Diósgyőr FC's goalie and right to Edgaras Jankauskas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. RedBull Diósgyőr FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Kings's Raido Pulver in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Raido Pulver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Raido Pulver took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Attila Mesterházy to make any attempt to save it. Attila Mesterházy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raido Pulver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Mátyás Virág hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nándor Szekeres fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RedBull Diósgyőr FC's protests and gave Nándor Szekeres a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes RedBull Diósgyőr FC got a freekick which was hit by Nándor Szekeres. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

56 minutes into the game, Tamás Havasi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kings's Håkon Bjernemose quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 77thth minute of the game Raido Pulver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RedBull Diósgyőr FC's Attila Mesterházy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind RedBull Diósgyőr FC's goalkeeper Attila Mesterházy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. RedBull Diósgyőr FC's Attila Mesterházy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raido Pulver in the 85th minute of play. When Kings's Raido Pulver in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kings's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
