Sergio Rochet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Cordeiro in the 23rd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Amílton Cordeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Rochet. LA LUZ F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amílton Cordeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Domingo Clis took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Márcio de Brito to make any attempt to save it. Sergio Rochet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Domingo Clis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA LUZ F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Clis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Márcio de Brito made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Domingo Clis sent off a good shot on target. Sergio Rochet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cido Recife went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 46thth minute of the game Cido Recife who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA LUZ F.C.'s Sergio Rochet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Loukas Botinos replaced Joaquín Lillo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cido Recife made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jailson Britto in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Márcio de Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Samurai Champions FC booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dawid Rojek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Samurai Champions FC's Luís Eduardo Batista tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Britto in the 64th minute of play forced Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Márcio de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentín Pascal kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 71 played minutes, LA LUZ F.C.'s Felipe Haitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Márcio de Brito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LA LUZ F.C. reached it. In the 73rd minute Jailson Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dieguito Maradona took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Márcio de Brito. Márcio de Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Samurai Champions FC's attentive Adrianinho Leme managed to snatch the ball when Loukas Botinos made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, Jailson Britto notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito. Márcio de Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Samurai Champions FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented LA LUZ F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
