Miroslav Motuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Cayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Lipp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orhan Veli Mirac in the 18th minute of the match. Raul Lipp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orhan Veli Mirac, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. FC XY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hector Fero ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ñacuñán AC's Hector Fero to fire away a dangerous shot which Miroslav Motuz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Santos Cayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ñacuñán AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Cayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslav Motuz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Cayo in the 41st minute of play forced FC XY's goalkeeper Miroslav Motuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ñacuñán AC's Benicio Otoniel was substituted for Santos Cayo. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ñacuñán AC made a substitution. Colin Probert replaced Hector Fero. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ján Krempašský to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as FC XY's Gabriel Ižvolt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raul Lipp. That made the score 1-3 after 75 minutes of play. FC XY made a substitution. Daniel Pavlovič replaced Orhan Veli Mirac. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Pavlovič in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Lipp saved Ñacuñán AC from getting behind. Daniel Pavlovič in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raul Lipp, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Raul Lipp was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Daniel Pavlovič capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Pavlovič really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 90th match minute, Ñacuñán AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colin Probert to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC XY's Vern Bird got a free kick in the 91st minute. Cosme Lauaxeta might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miroslav Motuz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosme Lauaxeta ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes in the game Colin Probert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Elpidio Ekain. FC XY's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
