In the 18th minute Lizer Cordal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jospeh McNally saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chelsea Football Club were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Brooklyn SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vicente Naike took the corner. Jospeh McNally showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lizer Cordal in the 21st minute of the match. Jospeh McNally took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lizer Cordal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Lizer Cordal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Lizer Cordal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jospeh McNally breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 minutes of play, Chelsea Football Club's Lizer Cordal made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jospeh McNally was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th match minute, Chelsea Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Ralondo to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Rexino during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evelio Milian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ollie Mejia in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute Lizer Cordal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jospeh McNally saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Stacy McDonough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lizer Cordal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Brooklyn SC's Evelio Milian threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gerardo Beard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The throw-in from Vicente Naike in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Brooklyn SC's Luís Schmidt. 52 minutes into the match, Lizer Cordal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jospeh McNally, 1-2. Evelio Milian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Beard in the 61st minute of play. Jospeh McNally made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lizer Cordal in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lizer Cordal. Brooklyn SC's Mano Loco was substituted for Gerardo Beard. Chelsea Football Club's Firme Verga was substituted for Lizer Cordal. 72 minutes into the game, Elliot Whitley threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chelsea Football Club's Raimundo Rexino quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 74 minutes of play, Chelsea Football Club's Firme Verga made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Firme Verga got free with Jospeh McNally in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chelsea Football Club's Evelio Milian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Cole in the 89th minute of play. Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Brooklyn SC from getting a goal against them. Chelsea Football Club's Evelio Milian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trenton Long in the 92nd minute of play. With a little luck, Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally got control of the ball when Firme Verga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Cazorla got free with Jospeh McNally in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Firme Verga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jospeh McNally made a huge save. Firme Verga in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jospeh McNally, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Firme Verga got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 96th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. Chelsea Football Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
