The audience was convinced that Leo Inautzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esra Breidert was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Leo Inautzi made a precise shot to the right of Esra Breidert. FC Traktor Götz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

FC Traktor Götz's Giacomo Grau was substituted for Arne Prestin. In the 54th minute Leo Inautzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esra Breidert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Romero in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Güner Uludoğan saved Not Today from getting behind. After 91 played minutes FC Traktor Götz got a freekick which was hit by Brian Tauss. In the 95th minute, Ralf Große Verspohl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Traktor Götz's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
