The Aguinhas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Walmyr Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chalá Guinea in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Rod Marsland notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Camino Rojo's Xan Sandines. Xan Sandines was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xan Sandines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rod Marsland in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rod Marsland in the 18th minute of play forced Camino Rojo's goalkeeper Xan Sandines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aguinhas's Rod Marsland got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Camino Rojo's goalkeeper Xan Sandines, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xan Sandines stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rod Marsland's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Xan Sandines came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Aguinhas's Rod Marsland. But to his dismay, Rod Marsland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 34th minute, Rod Marsland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rod Marsland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xan Sandines read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Camino Rojo's goal looked a bit too open when Rod Marsland came free, but Xan Sandines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Rod Marsland made a precise shot to the right of Xan Sandines. Camino Rojo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After the first half Aguinhas were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chalá Guinea made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Rod Marsland took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Xan Sandines to make any attempt to save it. Chalá Guinea might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walmyr Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chalá Guinea ran back to his position shaking his head. Aguinhas's Walmyr Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Chupin in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Rod Marsland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xan Sandines. Rod Marsland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. The audience was convinced that Rod Marsland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xan Sandines was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Camino Rojo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Rod Marsland scored to the left of an out of position Xan Sandines, making the score, 0-7. Faudel Gaume in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xan Sandines, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Rod Marsland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camino Rojo's Xan Sandines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rod Marsland in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Rod Marsland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xan Sandines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pancho Villasana hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Camino Rojo's goalkeeper Xan Sandines had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rod Marsland. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rod Marsland got free with Xan Sandines in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, Gutierrez Idigoras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. After a rather tough play, Camino Rojo's Pancho Villasana got a free kick in the 95th minute.
