With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nat Rohn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 9 minutes, Ladislao Gerazan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fire Devils's Nat Rohn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Volli Ant. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nikita Bolla the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fire Devils protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nikita Bolla had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Fire Devils getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nikita Bolla hit a great ball. Renato Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Nat Rohn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Iguaçu MZFC. When Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horaţiu Măcrinici in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Măcrinici got free with Nat Rohn in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ueli Siegenthaler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Horaţiu Măcrinici's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nat Rohn was relentless in the 89th minute of the game.
