Ersen Bumba struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Edmundas Sabaliauskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ. After a rather tough play, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Beyhan Aras got a free kick in the 11th minute. Edmundas Sabaliauskas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ersen Bumba went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gediminas Vainauskas in the 18th minute of play forced ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's goalkeeper Carlos Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, FC Egydasas's goalkeeper Edmundas Sabaliauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ersen Bumba. 21 minutes into the match, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Ersen Bumba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmundas Sabaliauskas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute Juras Svetulevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Juras Svetulevičius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Baptista was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When Ignas Alekna fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Egydasas's protests and gave Ignas Alekna a yellow card for diving instead. Edmundas Sabaliauskas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emre Mor in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Egydasas's Rokas Norkus got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Waclaw Hajder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gediminas Vainauskas made the kick off in the second half. FC Egydasas's Edmundas Sabaliauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ersen Bumba in the 52nd minute of play. Edmundas Sabaliauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersen Bumba in the 55th minute of play. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Şafak Uysal in the 57th minute. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Şafak Uysal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edmundas Sabaliauskas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 60th minute Gediminas Vainauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Ersen Bumba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmundas Sabaliauskas. FC Egydasas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ersen Bumba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 68 minutes into the game, Šarūnas Penkauskas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Egydasas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ the free kick. After 68 played minutes FC Egydasas got a freekick which was hit by Šarūnas Penkauskas. Ersen Bumba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edmundas Sabaliauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ersen Bumba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Egydasas defense, Ersen Bumba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmundas Sabaliauskas. The FC Egydasas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmundas Sabaliauskas should have stopped the shot. Edmundas Sabaliauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ersen Bumba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Egydasas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
