After some careless play in the Pegaso defense, Arnaldo Colas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Gelmiro. The Pegaso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Gelmiro should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Edorta in the 22nd minute of play forced La Mandarina Mecánica's goalkeeper Jerry Van Hespen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pegaso's Lino Edorta got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lino Edorta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lino Edorta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerry Van Hespen having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Edorta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrzej Dziedziak's late challenge caught a Pegaso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrzej Dziedziak helped the player get up and apologised. Andrzej Dziedziak hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Pegaso's Amador Vachon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 53rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jerry Van Hespen but with some difficulty. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Jerry Van Hespen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Colas in the 63rd minute of play forced Pegaso's goalkeeper Leo Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Edorta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jerry Van Hespen made a huge save. If Efren Dobale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pegaso made a substitution. Cordairo Ribas replaced Lino Edorta. In the 87th match minute, Pegaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Valery to maneuver through the defense. La Mandarina Mecánica's Argi Abad was substituted for Arnaldo Colas. Pello Abechuco's late challenge caught a Pegaso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
