But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Ixidor couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Kim Bolas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stiliyan Komsalov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Bolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sliema Dragons FC booed when RompePiernas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Péron didn't get a good kick on the ball.

After a rather tough play, RompePiernas FC's Guilherme de Souza got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind RompePiernas FC's goalkeeper Stiliyan Komsalov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. RompePiernas FC's Stiliyan Komsalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Bolas in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Anibal Galeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of RompePiernas FC booed when Sliema Dragons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Ixidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Paolo Péron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RompePiernas FC's Deng Chao Xun was substituted for Guilherme de Souza. Sliema Dragons FC's Matteo Borda was substituted for Giovanni Demicoli. Stiliyan Komsalov was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Dejan Cassar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dejan Cassar really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Stiliyan Komsalov made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Dejan Cassar sent off a good shot on target.
