Squadra Sulista's Ezequiel Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Espiridion came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Squadra Sulista's Renato Carvalho. But to his dismay, Renato Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. With a little luck, Haedo Lokomotiv's Joel Espiridion got control of the ball when Renato Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line.

54 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Mendonça notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Haedo Lokomotiv's Joel Espiridion. Joel Espiridion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho do Vale in the 76th minute of play forced Haedo Lokomotiv's goalkeeper Joel Espiridion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
