William Knutsen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yetkin Osmanoğulları. Karaelmas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

William Sommerseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Rıfat Özonder, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Karsten Karlsen took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Yetkin Osmanoğulları to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrey Kovtun in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Sommerseth saved Sagene IF from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wang Zhen Tian in the 71st minute of play forced Karaelmas's goalkeeper Yetkin Osmanoğulları to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karaelmas's Yetkin Osmanoğulları played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Kristian Aanes in the 74th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Ahmet Rıfat Özonder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Sommerseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William Knutsen kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Sagene IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Karaelmas.
