Amerigo Egger kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Brandelius in the 9th minute. In the 9th minute of the match, Harry Brandelius got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Eduardo Ramos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 10 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Szepes came free, but Carlos Eduardo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Buenaventura FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Rodolfo Dias hit a great ball. After 21 minutes Lilywhites's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christian Castillo who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Rodolfo Dias to score against Modesto Oakley in Lilywhites's goal. 0-1 after 21 minutes. Modesto Oakley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Eduardo Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Egger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Rodolfo Dias got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lilywhites! 32 minutes into the match, Christian Castillo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lilywhites's Modesto Oakley. Modesto Oakley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Bock in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Oakley saved Lilywhites from getting behind. Buenaventura FC's Carlos Eduardo Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Buenaventura FC from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harry Brandelius was the one to do the kick off. Walter Bock in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Modesto Oakley, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Walter Bock who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Modesto Oakley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 70 minutes into the game, Róbert Szepes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Carlos Eduardo Ramos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Modesto Oakley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Bock in the 72nd minute of play. Rigoberto Lozano struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Modesto Oakley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenaventura FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Brandelius in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Eduardo Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albertinho Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes, Lilywhites's Ermanno Baratta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Ramos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lilywhites reached it.
