Carlos Eduardo Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Carlos Eduardo Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Brandelius, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Carlos Eduardo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbert Szepes in the 27th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, Buenaventura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilgehan Ülgener to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosimo Michelini came free, but Carlos Eduardo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Lilywhites defense, Rodolfo Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Oakley. The Lilywhites fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Oakley should have stopped the shot. Walter Bock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modesto Oakley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Buenaventura FC were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Lilywhites's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jose Castro took the corner.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walter Bock was the one to do the kick off. Modesto Oakley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Bock in the 53rd minute of play. Róbert Szepes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Carlos Eduardo Ramos made a huge save. Modesto Oakley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Lozano, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute of the match Lilywhites got a corner. Buenaventura FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ermanno Baratta ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Róbert Szepes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Eduardo Ramos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carlos Eduardo Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosimo Michelini in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harry Brandelius got free with Carlos Eduardo Ramos in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, Lilywhites's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Bock came free, but Modesto Oakley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Buenaventura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Castillo to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Lilywhites's Amerigo Egger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Eduardo Ramos. Carlos Eduardo Ramos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Buenaventura FC had won after a very even match.
