Klement Rzeszutko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deyan Tătăruşanu having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, KS Ruch Chorzów's goalkeeper Erez Manco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matei Cârstea. The audience was convinced that Klement Rzeszutko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Deyan Tătăruşanu was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Deyan Tătăruşanu came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Ruch Chorzów's Klement Rzeszutko. But to his dismay, Klement Rzeszutko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Deyan Tătăruşanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Palmieri in the 19th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Carp Team's goalie and right to Emerson Palmieri. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Carp Team's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Emerson Palmieri scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deyan Tătăruşanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicu Postelnicescu hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Beniamin Wielowiejski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Deyan Tătăruşanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deyan Tătăruşanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Budovnits, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Carp Team's Deyan Tătăruşanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Palmieri in the 35th minute of play. Deyan Tătăruşanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamin Wielowiejski, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Deyan Tătăruşanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beniamin Wielowiejski's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. With a little luck, KS Ruch Chorzów's Erez Manco got control of the ball when Matei Cârstea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deyan Tătăruşanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donny Verweijen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Waldemar Pleban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grga Mijatović struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Erez Manco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carp Team. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

With his leg Deyan Tătăruşanu managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when KS Ruch Chorzów's Klement Rzeszutko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 53rd minute Klement Rzeszutko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deyan Tătăruşanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carp Team's Deyan Tătăruşanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Carp Team from getting a goal against them. Matei Cârstea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erez Manco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If Donny Verweijen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beniamin Wielowiejski might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Deyan Tătăruşanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beniamin Wielowiejski ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, KS Ruch Chorzów's Donny Verweijen got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Beniamin Wielowiejski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donny Verweijen might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Deyan Tătăruşanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. With an all-out effort, KS Ruch Chorzów's Deyan Tătăruşanu threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Klement Rzeszutko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 89th minute, Bob Budovnits hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaudencio Elivareo charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaudencio Elivareo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Carp Team getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gaudencio Elivareo hit a great ball. Deyan Tătăruşanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Rzeszutko in the 95th minute of play.
