In the 29th minute Güngör Rasif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Hans Kilstedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Semih Ayyıldız was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Er Håland in the 48th minute of play forced AN&KARASİPAHİLER's goalkeeper Semih Ayyıldız to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aybars Muhsin to make the kick off. TaTeRo Boys's Matias Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güngör Rasif in the 52nd minute of play. Matias Taffarel came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by AN&KARASİPAHİLER's Güngör Rasif. But to his dismay, Güngör Rasif quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. AN&KARASİPAHİLER's Konrad Kruusamäe was substituted for Aybars Muhsin. Matias Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Dervişoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Konrad Kruusamäe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TaTeRo Boys's Matias Taffarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of TaTeRo Boys's goalie and right to Geraldo Cataldo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. TaTeRo Boys's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Matias Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Kruusamäe in the 85th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Aytuğ Çelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, AN&KARASİPAHİLER failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
