The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Lozovan in the 3rd minute of play forced MALAIA FDFDF's goalkeeper Belmiro Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes MALAIA FDFDF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luca Lăzan who took care of the corner kick. Belmiro Negri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cezar Zmărăndache's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 16th minute, Cosmin Gâțea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lubomír Meszároš's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogdan Stelea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romildo Binder in the 20th minute of play forced FC Izesti's goalkeeper Bogdan Stelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, FC Izesti's goal looked a bit too open when Romildo Binder came free, but Bogdan Stelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, FC Izesti's goal looked a bit too open when Lubomír Meszároš came free, but Bogdan Stelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Iurie Croitoru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iurie Croitoru made a kick off. MALAIA FDFDF's Belmiro Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Gâțea in the 55th minute of play. Belmiro Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Gâțea, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Vitinho Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Bogdan Stelea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mazinho Correia during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave FC Izesti a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luca Lăzan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MALAIA FDFDF's Belmiro Negri. 1-0. Belmiro Negri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cezar Zmărăndache's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Antoni Basaik's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Bogdan Stelea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 94th minute, Caio Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogdan Stelea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Pontes in the 97th minute of the match. FC Izesti were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of MALAIA FDFDF for a fine match.
