Raul Moise scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinand Joldea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amerigo Gervasi hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FC aDeX defense, Raul Moise kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinand Joldea. The FC aDeX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinand Joldea should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, FC aDeX's Ferdinand Poenaru threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from James Madison, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Moise in the 26th minute of play forced FC aDeX's goalkeeper Ferdinand Joldea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Desamparados's zone, James Madison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Poenaru came out of the goal and James Madison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferdinand Joldea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Moise, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Sportivo Desamparados's Raul Moise in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC aDeX's goalie prevented a goal. After 33 played minutes FC aDeX got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Popovici. A collision led to Sportivo Desamparados getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Alejo Oxel hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, FC aDeX's James Madison sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinand Poenaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Sportivo Desamparados's Ferdinand Poenaru got control of the ball when James Madison tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC aDeX's Fortunato Miner got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Enășoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Madison in the 58th minute of play forced Sportivo Desamparados's goalkeeper Ferdinand Poenaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC aDeX's Gigi Popovici was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ferdinand Poenaru in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ferdinand Poenaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC aDeX made a substitution. Dorin Tărâţă replaced Gigi Popovici. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sportivo Desamparados's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cazimir Barbu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC aDeX's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Moise got free with Ferdinand Joldea in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Tiago Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinand Poenaru was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, James Madison notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Sportivo Desamparados's Ferdinand Poenaru.
