Amerigo Taranto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juvenal Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 22 minutes, Juvenal Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mijdrecht Maffia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juvenal Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 23 played minutes FC Mims got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Bartolomucci. In the 29th minute Emilio Grimaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Poelman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Grimaldi came free, but Rob Poelman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bram Wessel in the 35th minute of play forced FC Mims's goalkeeper Amerigo Taranto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juvenal Vaz in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amerigo Taranto saved FC Mims from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Grimaldi made a kick off. FC Mims's Amerigo Taranto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Vaz in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Emilio Grimaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Poelman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Mijdrecht Maffia's Bram Wessel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Amerigo Taranto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes in the game, Benjamin Moorlag fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Amerigo Taranto having to interfere. A hard shot 68 in the game by Juvenal Vaz from a close distance when the talented Amerigo Taranto managed to make a qualified save. FC Mims's players were relieved. Juvenal Vaz had several of the FC Mims's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Amerigo Taranto as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 74th minute Bram Wessel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Taranto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Emilio Grimaldi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rob Poelman. Mijdrecht Maffia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Grimaldi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 80 minutes into the match, FC Mims's goalkeeper Amerigo Taranto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juvenal Vaz. The supporters of Mijdrecht Maffia booed when FC Mims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciccio Lucente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rob Poelman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Grimaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
