Deilmison Oblak made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Benedicto Atarratze sent off a good shot on target. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Deilmison Oblak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Deilmison Oblak got control of the ball when Benedicto Atarratze tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Selebi-Phikwe's corner Abid Bubalo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Deilmison Oblak quite easily take care of the ball. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Deilmison Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Atarratze in the 24th minute of play. Benedicto Atarratze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Deilmison Oblak made a huge save. Durval Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mitch Lauwers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adilson Tepedino went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Benedicto Atarratze took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Deilmison Oblak to make any attempt to save it. Deilmison Oblak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Atarratze in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Atarratze was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Atarratze in the 53rd minute of play forced ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's goalkeeper Deilmison Oblak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Benedicto Atarratze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Deilmison Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Atarratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th match minute, Selebi-Phikwe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafik Oliwa to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Selebi-Phikwe's Rafik Oliwa got a free kick in the 68th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Cléberson Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Deilmison Oblak. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cléberson Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After 84 minutes, Adilson Tepedino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ and the Selebi-Phikwe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adilson Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Cléberson Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mitch Lauwers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Tinoco in the 88th minute of play. Cléberson Neves scored 5-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deilmison Oblak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivo Oliveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Mitch Lauwers made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Cléberson Neves notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Deilmison Oblak. Deilmison Oblak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Selebi-Phikwe walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
