Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emilio Henric made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Argentino de Banfield getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Lavan Querubin hit a great ball. Argentino de Banfield's Leonides Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Henric in the 5th minute of play. Lajos Vadász made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Nesor in the 7th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Aurelio Nesor in the 9th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A nice corner shot did that Vladimir Shtapov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonides Valentine quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 15 played minutes Argentino de Banfield got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Ishmael. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lajos Vadász made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Aurelio Nesor sent off a good shot on target. Leonides Valentine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Henric in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Argentino de Banfield defense, Emilio Henric kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Valentine. The Argentino de Banfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Valentine should have stopped the shot. If Emilio Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danilo Jobo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Lajos Vadász showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lavan Querubin in the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Emilio Henric managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club A. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Henric was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Valentine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club A. Independiente's Lajos Vadász proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Club A. Independiente from getting a goal against them. After the first half Club A. Independiente were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermengildo Ishmael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Argentino de Banfield's Dalmacio Daunte got a free kick in the 54th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Henric. Emilio Henric blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Valentine having to make a save. Emilio Henric could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Leonides Valentine made a huge save. With his leg Leonides Valentine managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Club A. Independiente's Emilio Henric fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 70 minutes into the match, Argentino de Banfield's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Henric came free, but Leonides Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Club A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Ishmael came free, but Lajos Vadász reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Valentine made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Emilio Henric sent off a good shot on target. Lajos Vadász came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Argentino de Banfield's Hermengildo Ishmael. But to his dismay, Hermengildo Ishmael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 84th minute of the match Club A. Independiente got a corner. Argentino de Banfield's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vladimir Shtapov ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Club A. Independiente's corner Vladimir Shtapov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leonides Valentine quite easily take care of the ball. When Emilio Henric came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Club A. Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Henric couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Club A. Independiente's Ignat Vidinov got a free kick in the 91st minute. Raimundo Castulo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lajos Vadász. Club A. Independiente's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Argentino de Banfield's Leonides Valentine got control of the ball when Emilio Henric tried to sneak it across the goal line.
