After 19 minutes of play, Inter Gala's Edgar Souto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedito Trigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eduardo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éder Madureira in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Éder Madureira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Souto. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Inter Gala players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
