But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Rogne couldn't finish the play. The FRANK fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when FRANK's Asmund Normann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

BICHO neuquino made a substitution. Ambrosio Maxin replaced Wieslaw Bartoszek. Elvio Kinsen made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FRANK's Martin Rogne.
