The audience was convinced that Juan Carlos Messi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Odion Tao was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Los Podridos ll's Omar Falleto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by A.J. 太史慈 in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Melchester Rovers's Pontus Fagrell got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 64th minute Ulises Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odion Tao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Sandwall in the 66th minute of play forced Los Podridos ll's goalkeeper Omar Falleto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Costa got free with Odion Tao in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Roger Sandwall notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Los Podridos ll's Omar Falleto.
