Willy Van Linthout was a little too slow when Beat Miner got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simula Miner in the 16th minute of play forced Bruly's goalkeeper Willy Van Linthout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Willy Van Linthout successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Willy Van Linthout made an important save on a dangerous shot by Popcorn Miner in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Brend Schrevens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helmuth Miner. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brend Schrevens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Bruly's Willy Van Linthout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simula Miner in the 30th minute of play. If Vit Miner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Popcorn Miner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Willy Van Linthout. That made the score 3-1 after 42 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Popcorn Miner made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Vit Miner came free, but Willy Van Linthout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 played minutes CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM got a freekick which was hit by Beat Miner. In the 56th minute Vit Miner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Van Linthout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Simula Miner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
