A throw-in in the 16th minute of the game was made by Prospero Jakes with Sebastian Tello as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Luis Mejía showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Demario, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Prospero Jakes's late challenge caught a ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Jakes helped the player get up and apologised. Mickael Wuyts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Nisio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute of the match ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ got a corner. Bahía é Carnaval's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roland Schiavi ran over to the corner to take the kick. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Roland Schiavi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mickael Wuyts in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mickael Wuyts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Nisio in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Emilio Lucado threw the ball into play from the sideline. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Mihály Berki quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Luis Mejía took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Demario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Bahía é Carnaval from getting a goal against them. Mickael Wuyts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Nisio in the 36th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Bahía é Carnaval's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Nisio came free, but Mickael Wuyts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Nisio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Marciano Ferran made the kick off in the second half. Basílio Vilanova sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Jakes. The audience was convinced that Ivan Nisio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mickael Wuyts was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Mickael Wuyts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Nisio in the 61st minute of the match. Luis Mejía made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desiderio Demario in the 64th minute. Ivan Nisio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mickael Wuyts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bahía é Carnaval fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Nisio in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mickael Wuyts saved Bahía é Carnaval from getting behind. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Romulo Cedro was substituted for Basílio Vilanova. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Bahía é Carnaval's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nafiz Bilen took the corner. Semih Recai made a great header on ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s corner, it was just that Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts managed to reach the ball for a save. Bahía é Carnaval's Ceferino Miro was substituted for Vinicio Florin. Bahía é Carnaval's Luis Iban was substituted for Marciano Ferran. Semih Recai might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mickael Wuyts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Semih Recai ran back to his position shaking his head. Mickael Wuyts came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Semih Recai. But to his dismay, Semih Recai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Semih Recai in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bahía é Carnaval's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bahía é Carnaval had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
