An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Chelodi in the 4th minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esquadrão Lusitano's Edwin Almodovar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Esquadrão Lusitano from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute, Afonso Pinhal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gianluca Balla came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Hamburg Fighters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gianluca Balla couldn't finish the play. Szilárd Újváry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hamburg Fighters's Pavlos Konstantakakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Chelodi in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Everton Cebollero came free, but Pavlos Konstantakakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hamburg Fighters booed when Esquadrão Lusitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Figueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Szilárd Újváry got free with Edwin Almodovar in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pavlos Konstantakakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Niziolek in the 43rd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Concetto Chelodi made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Szilárd Újváry cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Edwin Almodovar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 55 minutes into the match, Szilárd Újváry notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Esquadrão Lusitano's Edwin Almodovar. Edwin Almodovar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everton Cebollero in the 59th minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hamburg Fighters's Brandon Rick got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everton Cebollero. In the 68th minute of the match, Everton Cebollero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pavlos Konstantakakis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Everton Cebollero could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Pavlos Konstantakakis however easily saved by the left post. Edwin Almodovar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Balla in the 81st minute of the match. Szilárd Újváry struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Edwin Almodovar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hamburg Fighters. 85 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Chelodi came free, but Pavlos Konstantakakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Esquadrão Lusitano getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Afonso Pinhal hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Gianluca Balla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Almodovar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavlos Konstantakakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Chelodi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamburg Fighters were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Esquadrão Lusitano for a fine match.
