Cris Fenomeno charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cris Fenomeno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of VB-Team booed when Red Chicken Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cris Fenomeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hafız Öztekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Matias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cris Fenomeno in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Hafız Öztekin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Alves. Red Chicken Football's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hafız Öztekin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. The VB-Team players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
