After a rather tough play, Hyblae FC's Amedeo Giancola got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 6 played minutes Hyblae FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Mammarella. Corrado Contestabile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Enciulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Sorin Enciulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSD Concepción's supporters rose to their feet, but Sorin Enciulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corrado Contestabile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, CSD Concepción's Richard Murillo got control of the ball when Ferruccio Festuccia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Hyblae FC booed when CSD Concepción was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damazy Warka didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, CSD Concepción's goal looked a bit too open when Eigirdas Burnickas came free, but Richard Murillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferruccio Festuccia got free with Richard Murillo in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Hyblae FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Enciulescu came free, but Corrado Contestabile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Sorin Enciulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Contestabile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Murillo made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Amedeo Giancola sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Sorin Enciulescu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hyblae FC's Corrado Contestabile. Corrado Contestabile was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 46 minutes into the match, CSD Concepción's Sorin Enciulescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corrado Contestabile narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Damazy Warka kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 55 played minutes, Hyblae FC's Alfredo Mammarella shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Richard Murillo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hyblae FC reached it. Corrado Contestabile made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Sorin Enciulescu sent off a good shot on target. Corrado Contestabile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Enciulescu in the 60th minute of play. CSD Concepción's Richard Murillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eigirdas Burnickas in the 61st minute of play. Sorin Enciulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltazar Clavijo got free with Corrado Contestabile in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Richard Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eigirdas Burnickas, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Corrado Contestabile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Antonio Amenábar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eigirdas Burnickas's late challenge caught a CSD Concepción's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eigirdas Burnickas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hyblae FC's Eigirdas Burnickas got a free kick in the 74th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Antonio Amenábar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Corrado Contestabile. That made the score 2-3 in the 77 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hyblae FC's Jedrzej Pozorski got a free kick in the 81st minute. Corrado Contestabile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Antonio Amenábar, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Alfredo Mammarella made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CSD Concepción's Calixto Urquidi. Stefano Manieu kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, CSD Concepción's Corrado Contestabile threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manuel Antonio Amenábar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CSD Concepción walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
