Dennis Cimino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A collision led to Castagneto Po AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Biagio Nola hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejandro Martinez got free with Dennis Cimino in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Matthew stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Porro's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Porro in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Matthew prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 31 played minutes Castagneto Po AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Milani. When Silvano Arano came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Huarriors AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Arano couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Porro in the 39th minute of play forced Huarriors AFC's goalkeeper David Matthew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Castagneto Po AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Arano came free, but Dennis Cimino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Diego Porro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Matthew was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejandro Martinez to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Alejandro Martinez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huarriors AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castagneto Po AFC the free kick. After 51 played minutes Huarriors AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Martinez. David Matthew stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Porro's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 71st minute Alejandro Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Cimino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Huarriors AFC's David Matthew got control of the ball when Diego Porro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Castagneto Po AFC's Anfilogino Pinti was substituted for Fedele Pasquale. Silvano Arano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Cimino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Huarriors AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Pinti came free, but David Matthew reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Porros short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got David Matthew to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 96th minute, Castagneto Po AFC's Diego Porro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Matthew. David Matthew yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Huarriors AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
