In the 9th match minute, FC ciufulici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Comarnescu to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Wilhelm Nienhaus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dacian Oravițan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dacian Oravițan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 31st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dacian Oravițan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, FC ciufulici's goalkeeper Dacian Oravițan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedikt Bensch. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jörg Hannemann hit a great ball. Lucrețiu Oroian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Oroian in the 41st minute of play. A hard shot 43 in the game by Wilhelm Nienhaus from a close distance when the talented Dacian Oravițan managed to make a qualified save. FC ciufulici's players were relieved. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Wilhelm Nienhaus made the kick off in the second half. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hertha 1969 fully deserved thier win.
