The Redskins Hk fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Redskins Hk's Olov Jonsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 7th minute of the match Lipochσrion FC got a corner. Redskins Hk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giotis Michailidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Giotis Michailidis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henrik Kalfhage quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 9 minutes into the match, Redskins Hk's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Stavrou came free, but Henrik Kalfhage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Lipochσrion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Barros came free, but Aris Giannopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aris Giannopoulos made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Christer Säfström sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Stavrou in the 14th minute of play forced Redskins Hk's goalkeeper Henrik Kalfhage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Redskins Hk booed when Lipochσrion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Stavrou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christer Säfström came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aris Giannopoulos could save by the left post. In the 21st minute Cristian Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aris Giannopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aris Giannopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Jonsson in the 22nd minute of play. Redskins Hk's Henrik Kalfhage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Stavrou in the 26th minute of play. With a little luck, Lipochσrion FC's Aris Giannopoulos got control of the ball when Olov Jonsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Olov Jonsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Redskins Hk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Zacharias Siatzis hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Henrik Kalfhage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Pagomari in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christer Säfström was the one to do the kick off. Lipochσrion FC's Aris Giannopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Säfström in the 51st minute of play. Denis Pagomari kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Henrik Kalfhage was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Nikos Stavrou capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nikos Stavrou really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Barros in the 65th minute of play forced Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Aris Giannopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aris Giannopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aleksander Almstedt's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute Michalis Patsatzoglou suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 79 minutes into the match, Redskins Hk's goalkeeper Henrik Kalfhage had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giotis Michailidis. With his leg Henrik Kalfhage managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Lipochσrion FC's Giotis Michailidis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aris Giannopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Jonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Redskins Hk's Cristian Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aris Giannopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When Östen Carlberg fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redskins Hk's protests and gave Östen Carlberg a yellow card for diving instead. Östen Carlberg hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. A collision led to Redskins Hk getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Christer Säfström hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the game, Olov Jonsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Aris Giannopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lipochσrion FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Redskins Hk.
