Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fritz Ernst Joinvilense got the match started through his kick off. José Pedro Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darío Feldman in the 4th minute of play. Fritz Ernst Joinvilense in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gianluca Buffon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 12 minutes into the match, Camarón Bombay's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fritz Ernst Joinvilense. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Camarón Bombay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ademir de Almeida was slow to take the kick. During this time Botafogo AP's players had a chance to rest. Botafogo AP's Ademir de Almeida was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gianluca Buffon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 19 minutes, Fritz Ernst Joinvilense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Botafogo AP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Ernst Joinvilense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute of the match, Gugu Simões tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gianluca Buffon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Botafogo AP's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ademir de Almeida in the 22nd minute. At last the ball reached Pedrinho Alvarenga at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Camarón Bombay. 1-0. Fritz Ernst Joinvilense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluca Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. José Pedro Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Houseman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Darío Feldman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Bembe kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Gianluca Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Ernst Joinvilense in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Camarón Bombay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Confesor to maneuver through the defense. Ademir de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Botafogo AP's José Pedro Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Houseman in the 41st minute of play. When Camarón Bombay's Darío Feldman in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Botafogo AP's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Camarón Bombay made a substitution. Romeu Sanches replaced Bobby Moore. Darío Feldman had several of the Botafogo AP's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed José Pedro Bertassi as he didn't even see the shot coming. José Pedro Bertassi came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Camarón Bombay's Beto Acosta. But to his dismay, Beto Acosta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Beto Acosta kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. José Pedro Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Houseman in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 played minutes, Camarón Bombay's Darío Feldman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Pedro Bertassi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Camarón Bombay reached it. José Pedro Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darío Feldman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Botafogo AP's Sakarias Johansson was substituted for Reinaldo Kellogg. Botafogo AP's Edson Marquez was substituted for Adriano Fernandez. José Pedro Bertassi made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Beto Acosta sent off a good shot on target. Botafogo AP made a substitution. Wiliam Couto replaced Fritz Ernst Joinvilense. The supporters of Camarón Bombay booed when Botafogo AP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakarias Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Confesor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Pedro Bertassi. Botafogo AP's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. German Euloxu charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Euloxu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Camarón Bombay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
