Romeo Bernad scored 1-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alketas Bourouselos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alketas Bourouselos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Travassos in the 12th minute of the match. Alketas Bourouselos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baiona Encinas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ReAl Coholicos booed when Panionios MK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stratos Karatzas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Themos Leontiadis might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Saraiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Themos Leontiadis ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, ReAl Coholicos's goal looked a bit too open when Themos Leontiadis came free, but Allan Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alketas Bourouselos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Bilintx in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Themos Leontiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Panionios MK's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Travassos came free, but Alketas Bourouselos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allan Corrigan to make the kick off. After some careless play in the ReAl Coholicos defense, Themos Leontiadis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Saraiva. The ReAl Coholicos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Saraiva should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Jorge Calixto in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Panionios MK's Filippos Nioplias. Jorge Calixto hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Themos Leontiadis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Saraiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Fondas Giannakakis kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Themos Leontiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panionios MK's Themos Leontiadis got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Themos Leontiadis made a precise shot to the right of Allan Saraiva. ReAl Coholicos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 76th minute, Jorge Calixto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Baiona Encinas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alketas Bourouselos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alketas Bourouselos made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Almir Travassos sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Baiona Encinas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alketas Bourouselos. Panionios MK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baiona Encinas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Panionios MK! After some careless play in the Panionios MK defense, Cemalettin Acunman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alketas Bourouselos. The Panionios MK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alketas Bourouselos should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Panionios MK's Filippos Nioplias got a free kick in the 95th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
