In the 30th minute, Miromir Kazanowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mehmet Ediz Ulutay. The goal made the score 1-0. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by 61 PIMMS FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Barnaba Dziechciowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Nieciece's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Barnaba Dziechciowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mehmet Ediz Ulutay quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 40 minutes into the match, 61 PIMMS FC's goalkeeper Mehmet Ediz Ulutay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witold Bycofski. 45 minutes into the game, 61 PIMMS FC's Muzaffer Sami nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateusz Hajto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Muzaffer Sami to strike the kick off in the second half. Alessandro Costacurta charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessandro Costacurta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Miromir Kazanowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Ediz Ulutay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nieciece were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after 61 PIMMS FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Barnaba Dziechciowski took the corner. When Nieciece's Miromir Kazanowski in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, 61 PIMMS FC's Aslan Icardi got a free kick in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuil Tranchev during the 72nd minute. Mehmet Ediz Ulutay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miromir Kazanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 61 PIMMS FC's Muzaffer Sami got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Witold Bycofski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 PIMMS FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
