With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Ted in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thanasis Papadimitriou saved GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. from getting behind. Thanasis Papadimitriou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Ted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adama Traoré to make the kick off. Sapardi Sopandi replaced Alberto Jaen. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atletico Benevento had won after a very even match.
