The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Gasteiz Latorre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute Rubén Montt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Avellana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gasteiz Latorre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edelmiro Veronica didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gasteiz Latorre went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Celso Trasloseros hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Gasteiz Latorre took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edelmiro Veronica. Edelmiro Veronica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Gasteiz Latorre got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Del Manfredi struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Edelmiro Veronica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Dep. Soc. Rodo. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Gasteiz Latorre got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ToCoTaN FC's Edelmiro Veronica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save ToCoTaN FC from getting a goal against them. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Gasteiz Latorre got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of ToCoTaN FC booed when Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gasteiz Latorre didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, ToCoTaN FC's Edelmiro Veronica got control of the ball when Gasteiz Latorre tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Club Dep. Soc. Rodo made a substitution. Anthon Öberg replaced Gasteiz Latorre. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anthon Öberg to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubén Montt. A nice corner shot did that Guto Pirani got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edelmiro Veronica quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marciano Tonio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jeremy Avellana made a huge save. Arnulfo Beltran hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jeremy Avellana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Txindoki, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Ipar Capitan fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's protests and gave Ipar Capitan a yellow card for diving instead. Ipar Capitan kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo could leave the field as winners, despite ToCoTaN FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
