The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Lorenz in the 7th minute of play forced Asingratitos FC's goalkeeper Vykan Víkingsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Acatincăi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Huveneers in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, AFTER GYM FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Van Der Meren came free, but Ovidiu Acatincăi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Ovidiu Acatincăi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 15th minute, Bavo Reijnders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, AFTER GYM FC's Sixto Lorenz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vykan Víkingsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute Sixto Lorenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vykan Víkingsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixto Lorenz scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vykan Víkingsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Ovidiu Acatincăi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sixto Lorenz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sem De Kelper was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Geert Smidts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Acatincăi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixto Lorenz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vykan Víkingsson having to make a save. Vykan Víkingsson made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Sixto Lorenz sent off a good shot on target. AFTER GYM FC's Ovidiu Acatincăi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Van Der Meren in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, AFTER GYM FC's Sixto Lorenz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vykan Víkingsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute Maciej Burdzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vykan Víkingsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vykan Víkingsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maciej Burdzel in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Burdzel in the 74th minute of play forced Asingratitos FC's goalkeeper Vykan Víkingsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vykan Víkingsson came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by AFTER GYM FC's Maciej Burdzel. But to his dismay, Maciej Burdzel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Stig-Åke Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Asingratitos FC defense, Maciej Burdzel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vykan Víkingsson. The Asingratitos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vykan Víkingsson should have stopped the shot. Vykan Víkingsson made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Maciej Burdzel sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, Asingratitos FC's goalkeeper Vykan Víkingsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maciej Burdzel. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 93rd minute, but Vykan Víkingsson got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Asingratitos FC hanging dry this time. 94 minutes into the match, Asingratitos FC's goalkeeper Vykan Víkingsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maciej Burdzel. 96 minutes into the game, AFTER GYM FC's Maciej Burdzel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vykan Víkingsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AFTER GYM FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
