After a defensive mix-up in TEAMGEIST Football Club's zone, Nikos Kladogennis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Wnukowski came out of the goal and Nikos Kladogennis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Tarka in the 20th minute of play. Jan Wnukowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atacan Rahim in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Mouritz Klange notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha. Jerônimo da Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Michna in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, TEAMGEIST Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Atacan Rahim came free, but Jan Wnukowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Wnukowski was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Marcus de Godoi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcus de Godoi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 36 minutes into the game, Inácio Cosme threw the ball into play from the sideline. TEAMGEIST Football Club's Mikki Getlin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Atacan Rahim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan Wnukowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Atacan Rahim slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 43rd minute. Jan Wnukowski made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Atacan Rahim sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Elite™- FC Galácticos defense, Klement Tarka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerônimo da Cunha. The Elite™- FC Galácticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerônimo da Cunha should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atacan Rahim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Tarka in the 64th minute of play. In the 64th minute Klement Tarka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Atacan Rahim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Wnukowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Gino Monteiro was substituted for Atacan Rahim. After 69 minutes TEAMGEIST Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maël Zapata who took care of the corner kick. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Marcus de Godoi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jan Wnukowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Décio Rola in the 71st minute of play forced TEAMGEIST Football Club's goalkeeper Jan Wnukowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of TEAMGEIST Football Club's goalie and right to Gino Monteiro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. TEAMGEIST Football Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. TEAMGEIST Football Club made a substitution. Ariel Bernes replaced Waldemar Domeradzki. TEAMGEIST Football Club's Jan Wnukowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvério Vale in the 83rd minute of play. Jerônimo da Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boruc Kornatowski went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the match, Benedykt Michna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerônimo da Cunha. Elite™- FC Galácticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedykt Michna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Jan Wnukowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Marcus de Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elite™- FC Galácticos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. The Elite™- FC Galácticos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching TEAMGEIST Football Club's performance. The match ended with a win for TEAMGEIST Football Club.
