Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Jerônimo da Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Attard Gunners's Jay Jowsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atacan Rahim in the 5th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atacan Rahim in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jay Jowsey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Atacan Rahim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jerônimo da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergen Sergen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergen Sergen in the 17th minute of play forced Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalkeeper Jerônimo da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Atacan Rahim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jay Jowsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Sergen Sergen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Attard Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergen Sergen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Noel Buhagiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerônimo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergen Sergen in the 25th minute of play. Atacan Rahim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute Atacan Rahim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jay Jowsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Attard Gunners's Sergen Sergen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerônimo da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Attard Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Louis Naudi. Jay Jowsey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atacan Rahim in the 36th minute. In the 43rd minute of the game Adrian Grech made a throw-in which Godwin Sapiano played forward. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atacan Rahim to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Atacan Rahim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elite™- FC Galácticos's supporters rose to their feet, but Atacan Rahim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jay Jowsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Atacan Rahim came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Elite™- FC Galácticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atacan Rahim couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Sergen Sergen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergen Sergen in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. Jay Jowsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atacan Rahim in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Jean Carl Cassar Torreggiani reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jerônimo da Cunha. The goal made the score 0-1. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Silvério Vale was substituted for Nikos Kladogennis. 78 minutes into the match, Attard Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Rola came free, but Jay Jowsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79thth minute of the game Jean Carl Cassar Torreggiani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Attard Gunners's Jerônimo da Cunha threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jean Carl Cassar Torreggiani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 82nd minute Décio Rola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jay Jowsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Elite™- FC Galácticos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Noel Buhagiar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Marcus de Godoi got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the Elite™- FC Galácticos defense, Alan Said kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerônimo da Cunha. The Elite™- FC Galácticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerônimo da Cunha should have stopped the shot. The Attard Gunners supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Attard Gunners would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
