Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Paiva started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, WAU team's Benjamim Nunes got control of the ball when João Carlos Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laerte de Castro struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ronnie Hellström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WAU team. After 12th play minutes João Carlos Neto shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Benjamim Nunes and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Carlos Neto got free with Benjamim Nunes in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boris Alkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ronnie Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Paiva in the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Eurico Linhares made a precise shot to the right of Ronnie Hellström. Joxa mé trasan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Joxa mé trasan's Boris Alkvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Durvalino Netto, made in the 26th minute of the game. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 28th minute, but Benjamim Nunes got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving WAU team hanging dry this time. After 33 played minutes Joxa mé trasan got a freekick which was hit by Doyle Brunson. In the 39th minute Sven-Ove Alrot suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Ferraz during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, WAU team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. Abel Prado made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Joxa mé trasan's Boris Alkvist. After a rather tough play, WAU team's Laerte de Castro got a free kick in the 45th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Carlos Neto to make the kick off. When Laerte de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the WAU team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laerte de Castro couldn't finish the play. Benjamim Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Neto in the 55th minute of play. If João Carlos Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. In the 70th minute Mariusz Sebzda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joxa mé trasan's Mariusz Sebzda got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes in the game Durvalino Netto did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Abel Prado. WAU team's Benjamim Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doyle Brunson in the 77th minute of play. Benjamim Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Carlos Neto's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Ronnie Hellström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fernando de Toledo in the 87th minute. When Joxa mé trasan's João Carlos Neto in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WAU team's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Joxa mé trasan players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
