Balavanis's Ionuț Agusoaei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Ricciardo in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Ribas in the 23rd minute of play forced Balavanis's goalkeeper Ionuț Agusoaei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Classe A Futebol Clube's attentive Niclas Samuelsson managed to snatch the ball when Federico Flamini made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Balavanis's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ionică Cucu in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ionică Cucu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sérgio Perez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Classe A Futebol Clube's Sérgio Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Barascu in the 30th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Classe A Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Diego Ribas. After having played for 34 minutes, Diego Ribas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Classe A Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Ribas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balavanis's goalkeeper Ionuț Agusoaei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Alf Tanner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balavanis's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Tanner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Perez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Ribas in the 40th minute of play forced Balavanis's goalkeeper Ionuț Agusoaei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Daniel Ricciardo made a precise shot to the right of Ionuț Agusoaei. Balavanis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After the first half Classe A Futebol Clube were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The throw-in from Federico Flamini in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Classe A Futebol Clube's Niclas Samuelsson. 66 minutes into the match, Balavanis's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Ribas came free, but Ionuț Agusoaei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Cauã Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Agusoaei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Classe A Futebol Clube's Daniel Ricciardo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Balavanis's Ferdinand Costa in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Alf Tanner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Classe A Futebol Clube players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
