After a rather tough play, LavAzzA's Di Ao Shi got a free kick in the 20th minute. Herman Kindermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gauthier Spiller in the 29th minute of play. Iwan Lepucki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikael Wiman's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the game, Reinaert Diericx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Iwan Lepucki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Moerhuize's Herman Kindermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Vase in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in LavAzzA's zone, Reinaert Diericx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Lepucki came out of the goal and Reinaert Diericx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Allan da Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iwan Lepucki was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 42nd minute Gauthier Spiller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Kindermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaert Diericx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Iwan Lepucki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mikael Wiman to make the kick off. Mikael Wiman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Lepucki having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Moerhuize's Mikael Wiman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwan Lepucki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Reinaert Diericx managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moerhuize's supporters rose to their feet, but Reinaert Diericx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allan da Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iwan Lepucki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Allan da Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. LavAzzA's Iwan Lepucki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save LavAzzA from getting a goal against them. Herman Kindermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingar Holden, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
