The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Birjaio Basozabal managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Real Leonana's supporters rose to their feet, but Birjaio Basozabal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuca Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. As de Ouro's Samuca Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Gentil in the 4th minute of play. Stamatis Pegiadis struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Samuca Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Real Leonana. In the 14th minute, Birjaio Basozabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stamatis Pegiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Samuca Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Roy de Boer made a precise shot to the right of Samuca Lara. As de Ouro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Roy de Boer took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuca Lara. Samuca Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Stamatis Pegiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samuca Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the game, Jorge Terra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. As de Ouro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Real Leonana the free kick. Samuca Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 董泉榕 in the 31st minute of play. If Roy de Boer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuca Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy de Boer in the 39th minute of play. 39 minutes in the game, Roy de Boer dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The audience was convinced that Roy de Boer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuca Lara was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Roy de Boer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-3 became the score in the 43rd minute when Júlio Gentil elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Samuca Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wu Ran Jian in the 50th minute of the match. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind As de Ouro's goalkeeper Samuca Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, As de Ouro's Pedro Augusto Matos got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Samuca Lara made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Roy de Boer sent off a good shot on target. Stamatis Pegiadis kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 57thth minute. Though ot was a great shot As de Ouro's keeper Samuca Lara was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. FC Real Leonana were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after As de Ouro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 董泉榕 took the corner. FC Real Leonana's 董泉榕 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Samuca Lara in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Júlio Gentil came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the FC Real Leonana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Gentil couldn't finish the play. After 67 minutes of play As de Ouro's Jorge Terra was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of FC Real Leonana booed when As de Ouro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FC Real Leonana's Roy de Boer in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Samuca Lara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Samuca Lara came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Real Leonana's Júlio Gentil. But to his dismay, Júlio Gentil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 87 minutes into the match, As de Ouro's goal looked a bit too open when Stamatis Pegiadis came free, but Samuca Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Adriano Aparecido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Real Leonana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6.
