Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sem Titulescu. Sem Titulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Jataiense Futebol Clube defense, Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sem Titulescu. The Jataiense Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sem Titulescu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Terciero in the 33rd minute of play forced Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Sem Titulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sem Titulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fatih-Sultan Mehmet, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 44 played minutes SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Schramm. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sem Titulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 49 minutes into the match, Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sem Titulescu. Jataiense Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Sven-Olof Kihlman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jataiense Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans the free kick. After 54 played minutes Jataiense Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Kihlman. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pipo Inzaghi during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pipo Inzaghi hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Fatih-Sultan Mehmet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sem Titulescu, 0-5. Sem Titulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilkka Huuhtanen in the 73rd minute. With a little luck, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Sem Titulescu got control of the ball when Aristides Terciero tried to sneak it across the goal line. SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans's Ali Nieminen was substituted for Karri Blomberg. Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub scored 0-7 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sem Titulescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fatih-Sultan Mehmet struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Sem Titulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 87th minute Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sem Titulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Matias Calixto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Gong Cheng Yao quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gilmar Couto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pipo Inzaghi got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Pipo Inzaghi got a free kick in the 98th minute. SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans played a much better game than Jataiense Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Jataiense Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
