Klement Cieslak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tzanyo Chonkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohamed Basso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Tzanyo Chonkov made a huge save. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Basso made a kick off. Gerardo Oskitz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Thomás Toscano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 59th minute Mohamed Basso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tzanyo Chonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomás Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Oskitz in the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Capibaribe Stars's Mohamed Basso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tzanyo Chonkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Capibaribe Stars's Zinédine Maradona was substituted for Syd Morrell. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Old Dogs United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wilton Fontes was slow to take the kick. During this time Capibaribe Stars's players had a chance to rest. Veliko Kashukeev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85thth minute of the game Mohamed Basso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Old Dogs United's Tzanyo Chonkov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dobrin Tzúrkov made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Miho Kabakchiev however managed to control. Tzanyo Chonkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tzanyo Chonkov came out of the goal and Mohamed Basso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hicham Al Azka charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hicham Al Azka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th minute, Hicham Al Azka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Capibaribe Stars were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Old Dogs United for a fine match.
